Ready, Steady, Cook!

Based on the popular TV show, the Super Food Showdown is hilarious, exhilarating, super fun, and highly interactive for all involved. 

Help your students build a desire for healthy eating by showing them how easy it is to cook delicious fresh food from scratch!

For KS2 and KS3, the show is 1 hour long.

How Does it Work?

The School Food Showdown is a Multi-Award Winning Healthy Eating Roadshow, delivered all across the UK. 

The show is built around the NHS Eatwell Guide. We drive home the importance of eating right, using the food groups as our guide. 

The climax of the show is the cook-off, which really demonstrates how delicious healthy food can be.

The Red Chillis and The Green Peas use fresh ingredients such as vegetables, fruits, meats, pulses, herbs and much more to cook the best balanced healthy meal in just 15 minutes.

We don't just leave the chefs to cook - we get so many volunteers involved in the show, including lots of tasters at the end!

The pupils love it, the staff love it, and Jamie Oliver's team said our Roadshow is "Inspirational".
